Worth it to upgrade to [2.0.5]

Well I've got the [2.0.5] installed right now, and i honestly think that i should have waiting. I really don't feel like installing [2.0.4] again though.. so im just ranting lol..

How long does it take to get the flow of modifications for a new version started? Im asking specifically because I really want to figure out exactly whats going on with the new version and how the modifications are built around the new syntax etc.

Worth it to upgrade to [2.0.5]

That is good to know about the code not changing, I was not sure if it was a patch or not. I had been avoiding upgrading becuase of all the mods I have installed (moving to 2.0.4 about killed me LOL!). I think I will give it a try this weekend.

Worth it to upgrade to [2.0.5]

2.0.5 is not that much different from 2.0.4 . Its an update release, only contains bug fixes for the most part. The core code has not changed, so many mods should still be compatible. Some authors don't remember to update the posts saying that they work with 2.0.5 . However, there still are a few that may be rendered useless because of code changes.

Who ever said its not much of a change...... Think again.
Need a forum installed? Then PM Me and ask!! Do not PM me if you dont have a host or your host does not support PHP and MySQL, also dont PM me if you are hosted on CoolFreePages, or any other crappy Free hosts, Lycos is alright.

Worth it to upgrade to [2.0.5]

I would just like to say that there was an error with my 2.0.4 board that rendered it useless, that 2.0.5 magically fixed, the problem was with the sessions. Anyway, like R45 said, most mods are still compatible.
this here be a sig
